This policy applies to the Cueora iOS app and its Live Activity extension (the “App”), developed and operated by huamidev.
Information We Process
• Device and pairing information: device names, device identifiers, and pairing credentials, used to find and identify your Mac.
• Playback information: title, artist, progress, duration, playback state, volume, and artwork, used to show and control playback on your iPhone.
• Live Activity push tokens: used to update the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while the App is in the background.
• Diagnostic logs: connection and command records used for troubleshooting. They are never uploaded automatically.
• Feedback emails: when you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply to you.
The App does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or location.
Storage and Transmission
• Pairing credentials are stored in the iPhone Keychain. Other settings, artwork cache, and diagnostic logs are stored locally in the App.
• Pairing information on your Mac is stored on that Mac.
• While the App is in the foreground, playback information and commands travel only between your devices over an encrypted local network connection.
Information Sharing
To update Live Activities while the App is in the background, your Mac sends push tokens and playback information (without artwork images) over an encrypted connection to our push service, which delivers them to your iPhone. The push service only forwards this data and does not store it. To prevent abuse, it briefly records the requesting IP address. The push service is located in Hong Kong, so your data may be transferred across borders.
Otherwise, we do not share, sell, or transfer your information to any third party, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Your Choices
• Turn off Local Network or Live Activities for the App in Settings. Without Local Network access, the App can’t connect to your Mac. With Live Activities off, your Mac stops sending pushes.
• Choose Forget Pairing on the device screen to delete the pairing information saved on this iPhone.
• Deleting the App removes its local data, but Keychain credentials may remain. We recommend forgetting the pairing first.
• Data on your Mac must be deleted on that Mac.
Changes to This Policy
If the way we handle data changes, we will update this policy and the date above.
